We are very fortunate to live in an area so rich in environmental opportunities. We try to take as much advantage of this as possible, using the area immediately around the school and further afield to cover many aspects of the curriculum.
Older children have the opportunity to take part in residential activities, usually during the summer term. These visits always prove to be very valuable and we often use the county outdoor education centres, where we know safety is of paramount importance and your child is in the hands of very competent, experienced and fully qualified instructors.
We hope every child takes part in a residential at least once during their primary school life as the children thoroughly enjoy the experience and they develop greater independence, self-reliance and self-confidence.
